Instructions for documents
Those interested in presenting papers at the 10th edition of the REHABEND 2024 Congress on ‘Construction Pathology, Rehabilitation Technology and Heritage Management’ should submit an abstract through the Easychair - REHABEND 2024 platform.
To do so, they should proceed as follows:
(1) Create your personal area.
Instructions are available on the Congress website and a tutorial on how to proceed has been provided.
(2) Abstract submission.
The abstract, in this first phase, may be submitted in any of the official languages (English, Spanish, Italian or Portuguese). Its length will be between 150 and 350 words. The abstract should contain, at least, a description of the scope of the work, the objectives, a brief reference to the methodology used and the main results obtained. The subject area to which the abstract belongs must be indicated. ONLY ONE CODE MAY BE SELECTED.
The abstract will be evaluated by the Technical Scientific Committee of the Congress and the authors will be notified of the result of the evaluation by email. IT IS ONLY NECESSARY TO FILL IN THE INFORMATION ON THE EASYCHAIR PLATFORM. NO ATTACHMENTS SHOULD BE SENT.
(3) Paper submission.
Once the abstract has been accepted, the full paper must be submitted for review using the Congress templates. The paper may be written in any of the official languages (English, Spanish, Italian or Portuguese). THE FULL PAPER MUST BE WRITTEN IN ONE LANGUAGE ONLY.
In order to proceed with the double-blind peer review of the document, THE PAPER MUST BE SUBMITTED IN PDF FORMAT. The first page MUST NOT CONTAIN information related to authors and their filiation. For example, consult the following document (*.pdf). The document must be submitted via the EasyChair platform. You will receive the reviews of the Scientific Committee by email.
(4) DEFINITIVE paper submission.
Once the paper has been accepted, the full paper must be submitted via the EasyChair platform. THE DOCUMENT MUST BE UPLOADED IN WORD FORMAT.
(5) DEFINITIVE abstract submission in ENGLISH.
The abstract to be sent in the second phase WILL BE THE DEFINITIVE (at the same time as the full article) and must be written in ENGLISH (title, keywords and abstract). For this purpose, a separate document should be sent using the template provided by the Congress. THE DOCUMENT SHOULD BE UPLOADED IN WORD FORMAT. The document must be submitted via the EasyChair platform.
(6) Publishing agreement submission.
In order for the article to be published in the Books of the Congress, you must send us the signed ‘Publishing agreement’, agreeing to its publication in the Proceedings. The document has to be submitted via the EasyChair platform.
Abstract and Paper Submission making use of the templates will be necessary at the moment you submit your full paper, once your contribution have been accepted.
Los interesados en presentar trabajos en la 10th edición del Congreso REHABEND 2024 sobre “Patología en la Construcción, Tecnología de la Rehabilitación y Gestión del Patrimonio” deberán enviar un resumen a través de la plataforma Easychair – REHABEND 2024.
Para ello, tendrán que proceder de la siguiente forma:
(1) Crearse su área personal. En la web del Congreso se exponen las instrucciones a seguir y se ha habilitado un tutorial de cómo proceder.
(2) Envío del resumen. El resumen, en esta primera fase, podrá ser enviado en cualquiera de los idiomas oficiales (español, inglés, italiano o portugués). Su longitud será de entre 150 y 350 palabras. El resumen contendrá, como mínimo, una descripción del alcance del trabajo, los objetivos, una breve referencia a la metodología empleada y a los principales resultados obtenidos. Deberá indicar el área temática a la que pertenece el resumen. SÓLO PUEDE SELECCIONARSE UN CÓDIGO.
El resumen será valorado por el Comité Científico Técnico del Congreso y se notificará a los autores sobre el resultado de la evaluación, por correo electrónico. SOLO SERÁ NECESARIO CUMPLIMENTAR LA INFORMACIÓN EN LA PLATAFORMA EASYCHAIR. NO DEBERÁ ENVIARSE NINGÚN DOCUMENTO ADJUNTO.
(3) Envío del artículo. Una vez aceptado el resumen, será necesario remitir el artículo completo para su revisión haciendo uso de las plantillas del Congreso. El documento podrá ser escrito en cualquiera de los idiomas oficiales (español, inglés, italiano o portugués). TODO EL DOCUMENTO DEBE DE ESTAR ESCRITO EN UN ÚNICO IDIOMA.
Para proceder a la revisión anónima por pares académicos del artículo, DEBE ENVIARSE EL DOCUMENTO EN FORMATO PDF. La primera página NO DEBE CONTENER información relativa a los autores y su filiación. A modo de ejemplo, consulte el siguiente documento (*.pdf). El documento deberá enviarse a través de la plataforma EasyChair. Las evaluaciones del Comité Científico las recibirá por correo electrónico.
(4) Envío del artículo DEFINITIVO. Una vez aceptado el artículo, deberá enviar el documento DEFINITIVO a través de la plataforma EasyChair. EL DOCUMENTO DEBE SER REMITIDO EN FORMATO WORD.
(5) Envío del resumen DEFINITIVO en idioma INGLÉS. El resumen a enviar en la segunda fase SERÁ EL DIFINITIVO (al mismo tiempo que el artículo completo) y deberá estar escrito en INGLÉS (título, palabras claves y resumen). Para tal fin, se enviará un documento independiente empleando la plantilla proporcionada desde el Congreso. EL DOCUMENTO DEBE SER REMITIDO EN FORMATO WORD. El documento deberá ser enviado través de la plataforma EasyChair.
(6) Envío del Acuerdo de Publicación. Para que el artículo se publique en los Libros del Congreso deberá enviarnos el “Acuerdo de publicación” firmado, aceptando que su contribución sea incluida en las Actas del evento. El documento deberá ser enviado través de la plataforma EasyChair.
